About Michael
Painter, graphic artist, Member of the International Federation of UNESCO Artists.
Michael Novokshchenny was born in 1967 in the city of Severouralsk, Russia.
1977 — 1982 — art school Severouralsk.
1982 — 86 — High Art School Krasnoturinsk.
1991 — 95 — Russian State Repin Academy of Arts, Faculty of graphics.

Since 1995 paintings have been exhibited in Russia, Europe and the USA, including personal exhibitions. Since 1996 the artist lives and works in Moscow. Current exhibit MustArt gallery and G1. gallery in Moscow, www.saatchiart.com/ - online.
ARTIST statement
My paintings is always associated with movement. I try to move away from personal content in my work to gain a fresh look. I observe interactions and transformations in nature in order to find true spontaneity. I am interested in the physical and mental borderline states of people, the moments of transformation in society and nature, as well as the properties of natural surfaces and the boundaries of environments that generate distortion and the illusion in perception.
The artworks are in corporate collections of Benetton Group, Honeywell, Deutsche Bank, Wesso Link, Frankfurt brewery "Licher", VTB Bank and in private collections in the USA, Germany, France, Russia, Italy, Finland, Greece, Belgium and other countries.
